Cheboygan County Fair is an annual fair in Cheboygan, Michigan. The First Cheboygan County Fair was held on September 27th and 28th in 1878 on the grounds of the Cheboygan Horse Association. It then moved to O'Briens Grove, and was also held in Wolverine for a time. In the late 1940's The William Spies family sold the 30 acres which is now the Cheboygan County Fairgrounds to Cheboygan County for $1.00. He believed that the Fair should be held at location of the county seat. It has taken place there ever since.
